Nominated applicants benefit from a telephone affordability and vulnerability assessment where the following evidence is required - ID for all that will live in the property, proof of income (wage slip or benefit award letter), landlords reference required (if applicable), 1 months’ worth of recent bank statements for all accounts, list of outgoings (weekly or monthly). Residents benefit from an onsite caretaker (office hours) & access to a Housing Support Officers who can help with completing forms, claiming benefits, referring to outside agencies and social services and GP’s. An applicant may also be declined if it is deemed that the level of support they would require would seriously undermine Worthing Homes ability to support the other residents in a scheme.
