Tenants to provide their own flooring and decorating (if a previous resident leaves good condition furnishings these may be gifted).

2nd floor flat with lift access- applicant must be able to self evacuate in an emergency.

Communal heating, electric & hot water(no independent meters) payable to Worthing Homes by Direct debit at £25.47 pw plus water £5.06 pw.

Residents benefit from an onsite (or visiting) caretaker (office hours) & access to a Housing Support Officers who can help with completing forms, claiming benefits, referring to outside agencies and social services and GP’s.

Nominated applicants benefit from a helpful online affordability check where the following evidence is required - proof of income (wage slip or benefit award letter), 1 months’ worth of recent bank statements for all accounts, list of outgoings (weekly or monthly). Landlord reference (if applicable) will also be requested. Worthing Homes are unable to progress applications without this information.

This stage is followed by a face-to-face Lifestyle Assessment carried out by the Housing Support Officers at your current address. An application may be declined if it is deemed that the level of support they require would seriously undermine Worthing Homes ability to support the other residents in a scheme.
